NEW ZEALANDERS AT HOME.

COLONEL CAMPBELL’S VISIT. LONDON, Nov. 26. Colonel G. F. C. Campbell, secretary to the Treasury, has now come to the end of his stay in this country, and will return to New Zealand via Suez, sailing by the Orsova to-morrow. Although Colonel Campbell has been here primarily on a. holiday, he attended the Financial Conference with Sir James Allen at Brussels, and he and Mr Donald Robertson carried out an ofgcial investigation into the work of the High Commissioneros Department. This investigation has been completed, and the report has been handed in for transmission to the Government. Last week Colonel Campbell went to Edinburgh to say good-bye to his son, Lieutenant A. Le G. Campbell (High land light Infantry), who has sailed with his regiment, for Egypt. Colonel Campbell has found every moment o! his time here so full of interest that he regrets his departure, even though the severity of an English winter has now fallen upon us

It is announced that a son has been born to Sir Charles Cayzer, the brother of Lady Jellicoe. Lady Cayzer i s the daughter of Countess Sondes and her first husband was the late Mr James Meakin, of West Wood Manor, Staffordshire. Sir Charles and Lady Cayzer were married about a year ago.
