N.Z. NURSERYMEN’S CONFERENCE.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 12: The New Zealand Nurserymen's Conference opened to-day. Mr. A. W. Buxton (Christchurch) was elected president and V. C. Davies (New Plymouth) North Island vice-president, Mr. T. D. Lennie (Southland) having been already returned unopposed South Island vicepresident. The appointment of Mr. George Green by the executive as secretary and organiser of the Association in 1921, was endorsed. The retiring president, Mr. R. Nairn (Christchurch) delivered an address mainly dealing with horticulture, expressing confidence in the future of the industry in New Zealand.
