MORE POPULATION.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 7. The Paparoa, with 56 saloon and 197 third-class immigrants, arrived to-day, after an enjoyable and uneventful trip. All seemed in the best of spirits. Among the number are 32 domestic servants, under the charge of a matron, and they appear to be a superior type of girl, and all have been engaged for situations.
