TO-MORROW’S APPEAL. The committee set up to arrange matters in connection with the appeal for contributions "for the *x-soh (Ilers’ loan, which is to be made at noon on Wednesday next at the Post Office corner, met yesterday, win ■> there were present: The Mayor (Mr T. B. Williams), and Messrs Beswick, (Chief Postmaster), Willis, Sigle. ’ Bignell, Spriggens and Meuli. it was decided to invite the following speakers to take part:—The Mayor (Mr T. B. Williams), and Messrs W. .1. Polson, John Jones. H. Oakley Browne, A. G. Bignell. W. A. Veitch M P., W. S. Glenn, M.P., E- J. Foeter (Railway Workshops). It was also decided to continue the campaign on ihe second day—People’s Lay— at the Wanganui Show.
