AUCKLAND, October 23
:The advisory committee o£ the Returned Soldiers' Association met today. Mr. Long, Auckland said there seemed to be a feeling yesterday that 'jo far as Auckland was concerned there was an attempt at wilful obstruction What the Auckland delegates were concerned about primarily was to prevent getting into a f.Dosition which was responsib'e for Ahe di.'erence between headquarters .and Auckland. They were agreed that the machinery was faulty. There w: s no question of obstruction x».t all The only desire, was to avoid (getting Into deep water again through argument on the constitution that was passed
The chairman said they could accept Mr. Long's explanation.
