NEXT WEEK'S ATTRACTION.

Interest now tjenlres on the Wan;i»nui Agricultural Association's Autuui:) Show, which will be held at the racecourse next" Wednesday and Thursday, March 12 and 13. Excellent entries have been received, and the commits? are making every effort to secure ue©ess. ,

Good exhibits are%coming forward i a the stock classes, and th<s display of fat stock will be a big feature. The pl^ section has been reinstated this year lit the request of exhibitors, and some fine animals will be shown. Tho Association are looking to \*h» public, particularly on the Thursday', to attend in large numbers, and a very fine programme of ring events will he put on, including several of a novelty nature. The side shows will be nri numerous and varied as ever. " ... One of the finest collective exhibits will' be home indiistries, a section that has always been liberally patronised hy the ladies Jx and attention is also directed to the work of the school children. The catering will be in ihe hands--qf a committee of ladies, who are novr completing their arrangements. ' The ladies ask those who have promised donations for the tables to Jet them know by Monday what is being forwarded, and to communicate with Mrs Hammond, telephone 973 M, or the offic* of the Agricultural Associatio-i, telephone ,222. Contributions particularly invited are,meat, cake, and lettuce, oucumber, ftc., suitable for sat-1 ads.

In conjunction with the Show ,t)v» Wanganui District Canine Society N Dog Show will be held, and for en- = trance to which a separate charge w,i!i be made.
