RESERVISTS RE-EXAMINATION.

TO COMMENCE TO-DAY,

Orders have been issued for the. €2 Re-examination Board to commence its duties in the reexamination of men who have been classed by the District Medical Boards as unfit for active service, but fit for service of some nature in New Zealand. The Board is expected to commence the1 re-examination work to-day. Notifications have already been issued foi- the concentration of the Cl men, who are men likely to become fit for active service after special training, and in future .all men classified as 01 by the District Medical Board will ba forwarded to the apecial training camp, which, will be a subdivision of Featherston Camp. At this camp all men will bo treated and classed alike, and the first draft, which will number about 500 is expected to arrive there towards the end of September.

The Special Medical Board which will deal solely with tlie re-examination of the C 2 men has arranged its itinerary as follows:—Auckland, Monday, September 3 to 10; Whangarei, September 11 to 13; Paeroa, September 15 to 17; •Rotorua, September 18 to 19; Hamilton, September £0 to 21; Taumarunui, to September 22; Hawera, to September 27; Palmerston North, October 1 to 3; Napier, October 5 to 8; Gisborne, October 9to 11 ; Napier, to October 15. From Napier the Board will leave for Wellington, and will, then in turn visit tlie southern ceritros.
