EPIDEMICS IN GERMANY.
BERNE, Aug. 28. It is learned on the highest authority that there is an epidemic of dysentery in Germany of almost nation-wide proportions. Tuberculosis is also rapidly spreading, the mortality increase being 50 to 100 per cent since the belinm'ng of 1916.
