THE GRAND THEATRE
"SUSIE SNOW FLAKE" TO-DAY
This afternoon Miss Ann Pennington will appear in the Famous Players' latest re.ease, "Susie Snowflake." The story deals with an orphan commencing life on the stage, wno is transferred to the cramped atmosphere of a small ■village community, where her natural instincts are suppressed, and she- is made a scapegoat tor the sins of others. That Miss Pennington fully justifies her choice of the part is at once apparent, for she combines all the abandon of a child witn the mature wisdom of a staid, actress, a combination rarely met with, and which are such necessary attributes for the portrayal of such a complex character. The supporting players include the popular actor Leo Delaneyas the village doctor, and many well known Famous Players. "The Broken Coin" (No. 13) will also be screened, together with a series of specially selected films. Seats may be reserved at Allden's.
