GERMAN PRESS COMMENT.
m n LONDON, Feb. 7. LIXQ German press has now found its roice, but the striking similarity of its comment suggests that it has been waiting for official inspiration. It professes to regard 'President' Wilson's action with equanimity, even with relief because it entirely frees Germany's hands, which have hitherto been fettered by a "scrupulous regard" for American interests. Such a rupture has long been regaided as a possibility, and can bo faced with composure at a time when the Emperor and Hindenburg announce that the military situation justifies Germany in undertaking ruthless undersea warfare regardless of consequences. Some newspapers profess to welcome iresh enemies as giving opportunities ior further victories and proof of Germany's invincibility while facing a worid of enemies, while many indulge in sneers and abuse of President Wilson.
