Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very fair entry of sheep and cattle at. their Mangactveka sate on the Ist inst. Aitnough the bidding was not particularly Keen, practically everything changed hanus at the following prices ; — Sheep : Cull iambs i)s ; mixed shorn, lambs i6s 2d to 17s Sd; light fat ewes 29s bd; 2-th wethers 29s tid to 30s 3d. 'Cattle: Yearling heiiers 4 gns.s bulls £9 to £13; mixea weaners £3 Is; 18----month stefcrs £7 15s; 2-year steers £9 10s; 2|-year steers £11 16s 6d; tat cows £12 to £13 15s.
