Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston, report having a good yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle at tneir Palmerston Nortn sale on Thursday, the Ist mst., when shesp were in good demand but cattle were rather dull of sale. Quotations: — Sheep. —Cull lambs, 8s to 10s sd; small lambs lls to 12s 8d; mixed shorn lambs 15s 5d to 16s sd; 2-th ewes 345; mixed fat sheep 31s to 335.
