THE GRAND THEATRE
To-day and to-night will be the last opportunity of witnessing the "splendid programme now showing at the Grand ihsatre. Mary Pickford appears in her greatest success as Dolly Lane a little chorus girl; in "Behind the Scenes. Hector Turnbull's great domestic" drama, "Ihe Heart of JNora Flynn," is one ot the best Lasky pictures yet produced, and features the beautiful Mane Doro, who plays the part of, an Irish nurse maid, who assumes the guilt of her mistress's intrigue. Patrons are advised" to attend early land see .th e full programme. To-morrow the latest Famous Players production entitled "Susb Snowflake," will be shown. It is a pretty little romance of an'orphan's 'career on the stage, who is afterwards transferTed to the cramped atmosphere of a uttle village community, where her natural instincts are suppressed. Miss Ann Pennington, who plays the namepart, acts remarkably weil in her character of this wayward child. The supporting pictures include "Th.c Broken Com," (No. .13), and a series of specially selected films. Seats may be reserved at Allden's.
George .Willoughby and' his clever company concluded their Wanganui season last evening, when they gave an excellent production of "Why Smith Lett Home."
