THE POISONING CONSPIRACY.
EXTRAORDINARY EVIDENCE.
Received' February 6, 6.40 p.m. LONDON, February 5. Witnesses in the conspiracy trial confirmed the previous statements.
Booth said Mrs. Wheeldon volunteered the information that the poison was stolen by a young man employed in Gvy's Hospital. She added that the phial given ,to Booth was, enough to kill five hundred. If Booth required a microbe he. must ask Mrs. Wheeldon. . Booth asked how it was proposed to carry out the scheme. Mrs.1 * Wheeldon said the best opportunity to catch Mr. Lloyd George would be while he was golf ing ou Walton Heath, whan it would be possible,to fire a poisoned arrow frcm an air-gun. She proposed to send Mr. MeKenna a skull with » poisoned needle protruding. T:u» hearing was adjourned.
