Mr. Newton, interviewed, said we cannot overestimate the Americans' work on behalf of war prisoners. The rupture has temporarily cut off prisoners until. another takes up the work. ,
It is estimated that Aus'tro-Ger-many hold 1% millions of Russian prisoners, 400,000 French, 50,000 Belgians and 35,000 British.
