. LONDON, February. 4. . A Russian official meseage states: We repulsed several attacks on the east side of Tirul swamp and between Tirul swamp and the Aa. The- Germans broke in oiir trenches eastward of Raingem Road. Our counter-attack restored the positions.
LONDON, February 4. A French communique states: Our aeroplanes heavily bombarded cantonments and railways at Appily aifd Terniere, and munition -works at Thionville.
LONDON, February 4. A wireless German official says: The English attacks northward of Beaucourt broke down, but, detachments penetrated our front trenches near the north bank of the Ancre. We repulsed several Russian attacks at the River Aa.
LONDON, Feb. 4. A French communique states : — An enemy attack south of L&intrek in Lorraiae, failed. ' There is lively artillery fire in the sectors of" Louvremont, on the right bank of the Mouse, and Metzeral, in the Vosges. German aeroplanes bombed Dunkirk, but tusre were no casualties, and insignificant damage was done.
