Received. 11-45 p.m. Feb. 5,
AMSTERDAM, Feb. 5. Germany professes her willmgnesi not to apply the blockade restrictions over-severely, but it is pointed out that if America enters the war Germany wilt pravent^.Holland drawing thence further supplies. Germany declared her friendliness with Holland recently, saying she did not desire to cause needless inconvenience. Representa-; tive Dutchmen do not believe Germany! wants to attack Holland, where she cannot hope to secure much food. Hoiland will endeavour-to preserve peace, but there is no denial that dangers' exist. Rumours of German troop con-. centrations on the frontier are causing anxiety.
