BERNSTORFF LAUGHS.

WASHINGTON, Feb 3
When pressmen called at Co\int Bernstorff's office they were received cordially. Bernstorff was outwardly unmoved and greeted the pressnieu smilingly with "Good morning, boys." Questioned as to his intentions he replied: "I do not know. This is-my first experience of this kind." He added, with a laugh, "There are several ships in American ports. I shall doubtless find one to take me home.
