Sir Douglas Haig reports: We drove off an attack at Rancourt and advanced slightly westward of LeTrauclay. We pushed forward eastward of Beaucourt yesternight on a front of three-quarters of a mile io a depth of five hundred yards. We heavily repulsed two counter-attacks on Sunday, and twice entered the German trenches south-east of Souchez and bombed dugouts.
A French communique saj's: German works in various parts were efr feetively bombed, notably in the sentor of Hill 304.
