WELLINGTON, Feb. 5. A cyclone passed in the north on Baturday»and a heavy rainfall was experienced. An extensive westerly storm aera now envelopes the Dominion and high northerly and westerly winds havo predominated, with rain in most parts of the country. Present indications are for west to south-westerly winds, strong to gale, the weather boisterous, with rain probable generally, with snow on the higher levels in ihe south; the barometer rising everywhere soon.
