XMAS TREAT FOR SOLDIERS' CHILDREN.
It has been found difficult to obtain an accurate list of married men who have answered the Empire's call. The Women's National Reserve are anxious that the wives and children of all these men should participate in the Xmas treat being arranged for them on 16th December. Invitations have been issued to all those on the list at present in the hands of the Reserve. Those who may not have received invitations are requested to communicate with the secretary, 103 Bell Street, or to accept this intimation and to assemble at the Drill Hall at riot later than 2.15 p.m. on Saturday, 16th December. The committee are arranging for the conveyance of their guests by motor to and from Mrs Hope Gibbons' residence.
