MELBOURNE, October 14.

Victorian medical men who have been at the front have issued a manifesto appealing for a "Yes" vote at the conscription referendum.

HOBART, October 14

Prime Minister Hughes has announced that on the declaration of conscription wiil automatically cease.

In reference to the anti-conscription-ists, Mr Hughes said he had proof that the I.W.W. was chiefly responsible for the attitude of the labour organisations against the Government's proposals.
