FEILDING REPORT

Messrs Stevens and Urquhart's weekly report (Oct. 13) is as follows: —

Poultry: Small entry, good inquiry. Hens 4s to 7s pair; cockerels (chicks), is; roosters, 4s to 8s; ducks, 6s to 7s 6d. Pigs—Good demand. Porkers 35s to 40s; stores 22s 6d to 30s; slips 14s to 21s; weaners 13s 6d to 17s; w,eauer boars, p.b. 20s to 235. Horses —Pony £4. Turn-out £6 ss. Cow £11 17s 6d; 2-year springing heifers £8 5s to £10. Produce —Potatoes, 10s to 15s sack; O.S. chaff, 2s 9d to 3s sack: onions, 9s Gd cwt; also quantity harness, furniture, sundries, and drapery, sold at satisfactory prices.
