THE YON IGEL PAPERS.

WASHINGTON. April 25. The yon Igel papers are believed to contain documents proving Germany's efforts to stir up insurrections in Mexico, and anti-American feeling in Japan, with the "object of embroiling the .United- States, which would thereby be rendered unable to furnish munitions to the Allies. Ten thousand names and addresses of proGermans in the United States who were willing to act as German agents were discovered. ,*-

Wolfe yon Igel. formerly-secretary to Captain yon Papen, the ex-mili-tary attache .at the German Embassy in Washington, who is now on trial in New York on charges of conspiracy, was arrested after a fierce struggle with detectives at yon Papen's office.. The detectives secured their, prisoner only after bursting the door open and* threatening him with their' revolvers. Incriminating documents were found in the office."
