WEDDING.

BLINKO—MANSON,

A pretty wedding, and one of considerable interest, was celebrated at mid-day •on Wednesday, April 19, in St. Andrew's Church, when Miss Annie C. Manson, daughter of Mr. N. Peter Manson, of St. John's Hill, and late of Kai Iwi, was united in marriage with Corporal Roland G. Blinko, of the 13th Reinforcements, only son of Mr. R. G. Blinko, of Staffordshire England. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. D. Calder, B.A. Mrs. Mullins, sister of the bride, presided, at the organ. The service was choral, and the church was Beautifully decorated with autumn leaves and white flowers. The bride was attended by Miss Essie Manson, and Corpora! C. E. Campbell, of the 13th Reinforcements, waited on the bridegroom. The ceremony over, the party. motored to the residence of the bride's parents, where the guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast. The bride was becomingly dressed in ivory crepe de ehe'ne, trimmed with shadow lace and pearls, and wore the usual bridal veil. The bridesmaid looked charming m a dainty dress of crenm voile, with a black hat trimmed with plumes. The bride travelled in a nary tailored costume with black velvet'hat to match. Many very hearty eongraWlations were received by the happy, couple, who. mte in the afternoon, left by motor .for Palmerston North to'spend their honeymoon.
