"L© Temps" publishes an interview with M. Takejonescu, a Roumanian statesman, who says an Allied victory is certain. Russia and England are geographically invincible, and the French army is superior to the German if numerically equal. Italy is proving that a nation can accomplish miracles when fighting for a wise and popular cause. V great Allied victory is desirable to counteract the effects of the Galiciian campaign and appeal to the imagination oi' neutrals. Such a victory is only obtfiinablo now at the Dardanelles. Ronmania, he says, will contribute to the final victory, even at the cost of great
sacrifices
