BENEFIT CONCERT ON RACECOURSE.
The Garrison Band will give a con« cert at 3 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at the Racecourse (kindly lent for the occasion). A collection will be taken in aid of the very deserving case at Wang.'irmi East. Under Conductor Wade's direction, the following "numbers will bo given:—March, "Knight of the Road" (Rimmer); Overture, ■ <t"Li J'etais Roi" (Adam); Cornet Solo, "A Farewell" (Liddle). soloist, Mr. N. Northey; Fantasia "Alisma," (Jubb); Descriptive, "A Sleigh Ride" (Jullien); Overture, "Tancredi" " (Rossini); Glee, "Here's life and health" (Hollingworth); Anthem, "Sweeter Sounds" (Guttridge); Chorus, "Hallelujah" (Handel).
