teachers who are undergoing ;i course of instruction in physical training. He looked forward, she said, to the time when a great improvement would be seen in the physical condition of the boys and girls at the schools, as well as of the teachers. The scheme was capable of improvement and it would be part of the directors' duty to see that New Zealand did not lag behind. The Minister hoped teachers would help to make the scheme a means of securing improvement morally and physically in the schools. He hoped also that ailments such as adenoids and curvature of the spine would yield to carefully conducted phjsical exercises.
