CONCILIATION COURT.

THE SHIPWRIGHTS' DISPUTE.

(l*pr I'tpss Association.j WELLINGTON, April 10

Tlio Wellington Shipwrights' Union applied to add the- Union Steamship Coy., the Wellington Harbour Board, E. R. Bailey, and J. Bringins, to the parties cited in their dispute. Conciliation Commissioner Halley decided to exempt the Union Coy. and the Harbour Board, the former being required to furnish the Court with .a declaration that- it is not engaged in the shipbuilding industry. He granted the application in respect to Bailey and Bringins. The Union secretary objected to the Commissioner's ruling as affecting the Union Coy. and the Harbour Board, and the matter will probably be referred to the Arbitration Court during its hoaring of the dispute.
