MAN FIRES AT TRAMCAR

DUNEDIN, April 9

A young man employed in Mr J. J. Mar low's upholstery department, Prin-. cess St., caused a sensation this afternoon by firing three shots at a tramear passing the premises. The police were at once sent for and Sergt. Kidd took the man to the station. He ap- v pears to have the delusive belief that people on cars insulted him, and he had been carrying a revolver on his person. No damage was done, the bullets going wide. It is understood that the young man will be sent to a mental hospital.
