Patsy Brannigan, a noted pugilist, was badly injured in a riot between Home Rulers and anti-Home Rulers. Others weie Avoai ded. Poll'-3 reserves were called out, but the disturbance raged throughout the low class of the district for hours, despite wholesale arrests and baton charges.
