South American meat. —Sheep, heavy 4 l-16d. Lambs ojd to sid. Beef, fores 3 7-Bd, chilled hindquarters 4 7-Bd. Wheat.—Market steady, 36s 3d asked. Liverpool quotations for March smpment, 7s 3Jd; Chicago May 7s 9 *-Sd. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,915,000 qrs. and for the Continent of Europe 2,275,000. Atlantic shipments 469,000, Pacific nil." The total shipments to Europe for the week amounted, to 1,315,000 qrs., including from the Argentine? 175,----000, Russia 285,000, Daixiibia RO.OOO, Australia and New Zealand 221,000.
