Arrangements for the official opening of the new V.M.C.A. building on Thursday afternoon are well in hand. .Mr. E. R. Peacock, of Melbourne, who is to perform the opening ceremony, will he met at the main entrance to the building by the members of the Board of Directors at half-past thr.ee j Mr Alex, Wiseman will present the key, and the building1 having been opened by Mr. Peacock, the assemblage will proceed1 to the meeting in the Association's Hall. Mr W. A. Veitch, M.P,, his Worship the Mayor, the Revs. J. LI. Dove, M:A., J. D. McKehzie, 8.D., jand Adjutant Walker lind others wilt take - part in this; meeting:' •' The Board of Directors extend a cordial invitation to all to be present at this gathering. On Friday at half-past six th© men's high tea will take place, and to this young men are cordially invited, invitation tickets for admission being available frotai the general secretary. At four o'clock on Sunday afternoon Mr Alex. Jameson ; M.A., will speak at the men's meeting—which is to be held in the new building.
