< c'Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services.) Received 5.20 p.m., Mar. 20. ST. PETERSBURG, Mar. 20. A cyclone at Rostovondon destroyed 2300 people. A fishing settlement of 300 houses was swept away. Fears are entertained for the safety of the Astrakhan fishing fleets, the crews numbering ten thousand. A striking phenomena was the complete darkness while elsewhere there la rosy eky. The mud and rain are -disfiguring the houses, and frost is mining the orchards. There was blinding lightning without thunder. The peasants in the stricken area believe the cyclone to be a prelude to the Judgment Day.
