FALMERSTON N. 3 June 17. The Winter Show affords rcmarlaiblo testimony to ■ the great development than has taken p!,acc in the matter of fa.rm product/ion. The exhibition speaks eloquently of this; but in further corroboration some remarkable figures wore given at the annual meeting of the Natioiial Dairy Association by t\v> president,, Mr Morton, who showed that tho exports for last year show v value of nhont four million pounds. Taking tho figures given by the Government Department of Agficulture {&• tho 12 months ended March 31, 1913, tlu> total value of frozen beef, mutton, ■and lamb -exported from the Dominion ro^the period was £3,694,170. "Whilst tho total export of butter has boen majintfciined equal to nearly 6^ per cent over last year, principally duo to tho development in the Auckland pjovince. There is a substantial gain in t>ic output of cheeso of 28 per cent over the season 1911-12.

The total quantity of butter exported for the year was 18,286 tons, and 32.----326 tons of cheese.

In 15)04 Canada sont 'to the English market 98,300 tons. It has now fallen nearly 26,000 tons. Now Zealand exported in that year to the United Kingdom 4111 tons, .arid this year the output will be about 32,000 tons.
