Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—The first, crutching salo of the season was held to-day lii conjunction with the ordinary fortr.ightly s;>le. Total -oatalogues oompnsing fully 80 bales wero offered with Uio usual quality of skins and hides. Buyers were present in large' numbers, several representatives of ovevsea.s houses being present, also buyers from the X.Z. woollen mills.
