Tho'weather conditions have changed, with a falling barometer in the south •and westerly winds now prevail, with rain on the west coast and in the southern districts.; Present indications are for unsettled and cloudy.-weather and ran is probable generally, strong a-nd squally westerly winds, especially in Cook and FoVeaux Straits. The barometer is unsteady.'rising temporarily in i lie south but falling everywhere again shortly.
