WANGANUI v. NORTH TARANAKI
-ON COOK'S GARDENS TO-MORROW AND THURSDAY. The annual match 'between the representatives of the Wanganui iand North "Taranaki Associations will commence on Cook's Gardens to-morrow (Xma s Day) at 2. p.m. Although the local team "is not quite so strong as the one which so thoroughly beat South Taranaki last week, it is nevertheless a first class eleven, and quite up to Wanganui represeriativo strength. The Wanganui team consists of Luxford, Furrie, Orton, Tronson, C. Holland, Tracy, Murehio, Brown, Burrett, H. B. Cave, and Bathgate. These players will be opppsed 'by a good eleven from the North Taranaki centre, and some good -cricket will be provided. The match will be concluded on Thursday, commencing on that day at 10-30 a.m. An additional attraction on Thursday will ;be the junior representative match between Oroua and Wanganui. Given a fine day, there should be a record attendance on Cook's, as this match is the only attraction for Xmas Day. Admission i s . free, but a collection will bo taken up to defray the expenses of the niatch. OROUA REPS. FOR WANGANUI. The annual match has been arranged between teams representing the Oroua and Wanganui Association junior irep. teams, to be played at Wanganui on Boxing Day. The Oroua team will travel by the 5.35 p.m. train on Christmas Day. the match will start at 9.30 a.m. on Boxing Day, and the tourists will reach homo at 8.15 o'clock the same evening.'
