LONDON, Dec. 23. Mr Keir Bardic, speaking at South Shields, referring to the Trade Union Congress deliberations respecting the maximum day, said every trade unionist should be asked to-down tools when eight hours were up. He hoped this would be -possible on the Ist of May. In another speech at "Newcastle, he said that if needful he was prepared to advocate a strike- for the iright of the working classes t6 -^t drunk in their leisure. . . • ,
