P.S.A. BROTHERHOOD.
There was- another good audience at the Brotherhood meeting yesterday, when the chair was taken "by the Vice-President (Br. R. B. Horsley). Miss- Brett very ably, rendered the song "Sweet Spirit hear my prayer," and Mr. Green gave a splendid interpretation Qf the sacred solo "Calvary," both of which were very mucli appreciated. Mr. Grant, 8.A., was the speaker for the afternoon. Taking for his subject "One or two aspects of Brotherhood," he proceeded to show that the remedy for most of the social unrest and labour troubles was in a Universal Brotherhood in practice and not merely in theory. There can be no great reform without individual effort and self-sacrifice. There must be reading, thinking and acting. Men must give up the /results of their years of study for the betterment of . their fellows. The strong inspiriting address was listened to with keen attention throughout and the appreciation shown was a good indication of the help received.
the singing at the meetings, assisted by the various instrumentalists, is one of the features which tends to make the meetings so popular. Next Sunday's meeting was announced as an open Sunday, both in music and speech, and a treat 'Is promised to all who will be present.
