The "Australian Philatelists' Conference has opened at Sydney. Mr Bates represents New Zealand.'
The Philatelic Conference resolved to ask the Postmasters-General of the Commonwealth and Now Zealand that the new issue of stamps bo kept uniform in respect to gauge perforations and in others-respects.
