A DESERTED GUILD.
(Per Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, October 13
A female child only a few hours old was found in an outhouse at North Balclutha at 7 a.m. to-day. Its condition showed it had been neglected at birth. The child was in a very, weak state, but late this afternoon there appeared to be a possibility that it would survive. So far there is no clue as to parentage.
