To-day, .Saturday > the sale of freehold property will be held by Mr J. H. Keeping, at his mart. The .section to be offered is-a full quarter acre with wellfinished cottage of htree commodious rooms, large shed, and storeroom. Planted with fruit-trees in good bearing, and surrounded by macrocarpa hedge, and is a most desirable, property.. To-day (Saturday) a sale of borough leasehold property situated at the back of; the racecourse takes place, at Mr J. H. Keesing's Mart, commencing at 2.30 o'clock. The terms are- Glasgow lease, which is the best of all tenure. Our readers wilil find it to their advantajge to peruse the advertisement. At the Wanganui Auction Mart today Williams and Harper will hold their usual Saturday sale, and, in addition to the ordinary lines, &, quantity of unredeemed pledges will be sold. Also, under a bill of sale, a nice piano will be auctioned.

Messrs Jackson and Co. publish additions to their Raetihi sale to be held on 17th inst.

A golden opportunity for Drapery Buyers now presents itself in the shape of R..H. White and Co.'s clearing sale of the whole of their magnificent stock of Drapery. The firm only took their present temporary premises next to N.Z. Clothing. Factory for six. months, and time will soon be up. Mr.^hite has decided to retire from therprapery trade, and has leased premises where the .Rutland Fire occurred, with the idea of fitting it up as a Irst-class Men's and Boys' Outfitting Store.
