BENEFIT CONCERT AT ARAMOHO.
It is p.easurable to announce that the ooncfrrt arranged for the benefit of the^ widow and children ofrthe late Mr A. Mackay, and. which was he!d at Aramoho on Friday evening, proved highly successful. The Mayor (Mr €. B. Mackay) opened the proceedings ' and on behaJf of Mrs Mackay and family,, thanked all }\'ho had rendered assisteiice. During the evening a sympathetic telegram horn Mr J. T. Hogan, who is attending Parliament, was read. Prior to the* concept tho. Salvation Army JBand., rendered .a fine programme outside the hall. A danco followed the concert, the hall being racked. A word of praise is due to Mr H. Glubb; who organised tho concert programme and acted .a$ stage ni^anager. also to Mr H. Hartigan,- who sis hon. did a large aniouni of. work to^ make the concert a, siteoess.,^
