AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS.

AUCKLAND, March 23. The eleventh round of the Auckland Cricket Association's district championships was commenced yesterday in dull weather and on a soft wicket. The play in the senior grade was as follows: — Ponsonby vv. Eden Colts.—Ponsonby first innings 333 to reight wickets (Hemus IL4, Woods 166). North Shore v. Eden A.—North Shore first innings 142 (Hadden 77, Kallender 26). Robinson took three wickets for 17 runs. Eden A, 46 for three wickets (Cummings 19). University v. City.—University first innings 61 (Wallace 15). Harvie took eight wickets for 38 runs. City 87 for eight .wickets (Gleeson 36, McCormick 29 not out). Parnell v. Graf ton.—Parnell first innings 131 (Hutchings 67, Hartland 22, Kerr 19 not out). Eastgate took three wickets for 19 runs, Hill three for 22, and Horsepool two for 16. The Auckland Cricket Association has decided that this round shall be the last of the present season. j The North Shore District Club teams have won. the senior and second grade championships, and the Grafton team the third grade, the positions of .the teams being such that the results of the present round cannot affect the results.
