LONDON MARKET REPORTS.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, have received the following cables from their London house under date of the 25th inst.: —

Frozen Meat. —The demand for lamb is limited, stocks are large, and the market is weak. Mutton: Stocks are large, and prices are weaker owing to a limited demand. Prices for beef are weak, and there is only a limited demand. Our quotations for New Zealand descriptions are: —Prime ox beef fores 2^d, hinds 3d; prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 4|d, light sd; prime crossbred lamb, North Island heavy 4^d, light 4J;d; prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy 3d, light 3|d; prime crossbred mutton, North Island heavy 2|d, light 3d. A further decline in prices is expected .

Tallow. —Since our last advices prices for mixed tallow are 3d per cwt lower. Any change in prices for prime beef tallow is in favour of sellers.
