SUICIDE OF A YOUNG MAN.
WELLINGTON, March 28
A single man, named Jas. Fleming, a saloon passenger from Lyttelton by the Maori, jumped overboard as the steamer, was approaching Wellington wharf to-day. A boat was promptly lowered and his bo:ly was found aft r a little time, life being extinct. Fleming was a clerk in the employment of the Bank of New Zealand, and was being transferred from Waimate to Wellington.
