The exhibition matches between Wilding and Parker in the Singles, and Wilding and Grossman v. Parker and Fisher in the Doubles, took place this afternoon on the Eden and Epsom courts. There was a large attendance, including Sir Joseph Ward and party. In the Singles Parker beat Wilding, B—6, 6—4. Wilding appeared to have an off day, and at various stages slackened off considerably. Parker's hitting was invariably well directed, and with his shots he frequently coaxed Wilding out of position by clever moves. In the Doubles, Parker and Fisher beat Wilding and Grossman in the first set, 6— l. Th© second set went to Wilding and1 Grossman, B—6. At this stage Wilding retired. "' '
