Mr1.. Poultney-Bigelow, Professor of Jurisprudence at Boston University, who is touring the world, in vest igaiting the different methods of colonisation, has returned from tHie German colonies of New Guiinea and New Britain. He says that in. the German colonies there was< a gi*eat deal of colonisation, but no co^ioav ists. German officials arid missionaries boycott. Engliish missionaries and oppose English intrusion of every kind.
