At Addington to-day the entries were only medium, except in the ca>e of fat sheep, which were in large supply. Fat Cattle —173 came forward, for ■which there was just enough demand to ucause a clearance. Prices were about the same as la.st week. Per 1001b beef as worth 30s to 36s and per head sales were ef-

Fat Sheep—The demand was fair, prices being rather easier. Most of the sheep •were in the wool. Freezers brought from 16s to 19s 9& lighter weights and unfinished sorts lss 4d to 16s 6d, freezing

ewe* 14s to 17s lOd, medium butchers' ewes 10s to 13s. The market opened at last week's prices, but as the sale progresser ewes for ©sport hardened.

Fat Lambs —There were 880 in the pens. Freezing sorts fetched 13s 4d to 16s 3d, representing a drop of Is per head on last week's. Butchers' lambs brought 12s 93 to 17s. '

Pigs—The entry was fair, but the demand slack. Porkers ran from 28s to 38s, or 4£d to 5d per lb; stores 15s to 235, smaller stores lls to 15s, weaners 9s to 10s ; baconers fetched 40s to 60si, and two exceptional pens 665. to 70s, or 4|d to 5d per lb.

DUNEDIN, November 26.

At Burnside market to-da^. 154 ucattle were yarded. Prices ruled about the same as last week. Best bullocks £11 10s to £13 ss; medium, £9 10s to £11; best cows and heifers £9 to £10 ss; medium, £7 10s to £8 17s 6d.

Sheep—l 622 penned. Prices were unchanged. Best wethers, 21s to 245; medium, 18s to 20s 6d; shorn, to 18s 9d; best ewes, 20s to 23s 6d ; medium, 16s 6d to 19s 6d, shorn up to 15s 9d. Lambs—3oo .
